My 92 year old father and 38 year old son live with me and we run a very functional and happy bachelor home. This is possible because we care for each other deeply and we do not need special days to remember our attachments. <br><br>My sister and her husband looked after their parents and inlaws with great affection and care and I still remember my mother being so happy to be with them at every possible opportunity. I have many other cases within my family to share including a case of my male cousins looking after their parents till the very end.<br><br>Such days are perhaps needed in homes and countries where old people are sent off to old people's homes.
