Exercise 1:Develops Motor Pathways: This exercise is recommended for all ages. Even if you are aged you can tighten up connections and new pathways to an extent.
This exercise develops motor pathways. If you are a right handed, use the left hand to change your cloths,dial the number,eat your food,write in the left hand.This exercise would help to create new nerve pathways and boost the brain power.
Exercise 2: Cognitive Ability: Playing games or doing something new which involves thinking, example new way of reaching to work,for example going in a new road,travel different directions, sitting in a different side in the office or the different chair, change the things in the table.
Exercise3: Optimal Brain Function : The omega-3 fatty acid known as docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is an important ingredient for optimal brain function. Omega 3 is the ultimate brain food because it lines up all the nerve pathways for optimal brain function. Fish is considered to be the brain food as it contains omega-3 fatty acid. DHA is crucial in fetal brain development. Omega 3 fatty acid is also available in flax seeds,walnuts,beans,olive oil,Chinook salmon, baked/broiled,Scallops,cooked Soybeans etc.,
Exercise4: Stimulate other senses :Close your eyes when you do ordinary things: when you take bath,when you wear dress, this would help in develop other sense which would rewire the brain to do other things using your other senses.
example: A Blind person will have an increased auditory sense than a normal person.
Exercise5: Meditation,Yoga,Tai Chi will improve the brain power and also will keep you body healthy. Yoga helps in the secretion of beta endorphins which would help in the numbness ( can avoid pregnancy pain) during pregnancy
Exercise 6: Sleep well and take rest adequately . A normal 8 hours sleep is recommended to boost the brain power. If you don’t have enough sleep you may feel stressed.Less Stress is must to improve the brain efficiency.
